Aroma beads (also known as scented beads, freshie beads, or polymer beads) are small, clear plastic beads made from a type of polymer (usually EVA – ethylene-vinyl acetate) that can absorb and hold fragrance oil. They are popular for making air fresheners and crafts due to their ability to release scent slowly over time.

🛠️ How to Use Aroma Beads
🔹 To Make Scented Aroma Beads:

Measure Your Beads:
Add the desired amount of unscented aroma beads to a glass jar or container 8oz -
Add Fragrance Oil:
2oz fragrance oil per 8oz of beads (exact amount depends on the oil and your strength preference). 2:8 FO:beads ratio -
Optional – Add Color:
If you want to color your beads, add a few drops of liquid candle dye or mica powder and shake until evenly coated. -
Let Them Cure:
Seal the container and shake well. Let the beads sit for 1 to 7 days, shaking daily, until all the oil is absorbed and the beads feel dry. -
Use As-Is or Bake for Freshies:

For sachets/drawers: Use the scented beads as they are.

For shaped air fresheners (freshies): Pour the beads into a silicone mold and bake at 300°F (150°C) for 5–10 minutes until they melt together slightly. Cool completely before removing from mold.
