Typically we use a 4:1 ratio, with 4 times the amount of beads as fragrance. For example, add 25 grams of fragrance oil to 100 grams of aroma beads. Be sure to test every fragrance you'd like to use in small batches. Some fragrances require a higher ratio to fully absorb (I've gone up to an 8:1 ratio for some), and some fragrances just don't work no matter how many beads you add. To infuse aroma beads with fragrance, simply:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003col data-start=\"716\" data-end=\"950\"\u003e\n\u003cli data-start=\"716\" data-end=\"770\"\u003ePlace the beads in a glass jar with a secure lid. (We use mason jars!) For a test batch, we recommend starting with 40 grams of beads.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli data-start=\"771\" data-end=\"818\"\u003eAdd fragrance oil to the beads in the jar and shake well. For a test batch, we recommend starting with 10 grams of fragrance oil.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli data-start=\"884\" data-end=\"950\"\u003eAllow 24 to 48 hours for full absorption at room temperature.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli data-start=\"884\" data-end=\"950\"\u003eFragrance has been fully absorbed when the beads do not stick to the sides of the jar. If they continue to stick to the sides after 2 days, add more beads and repeat  starting with step 3. \n\u003col data-start=\"716\" data-end=\"950\"\u003e\n\u003cli data-start=\"884\" data-end=\"950\"\u003eFor the test batch size, we recommend adding 20 grams of beads if your fragrance hasn't fully absorbed. This will make it a 6:1 ratio.
