Get creative with colour, shape, and scent! Aroma beads absorb fragrance oil and can be baked into decorative car freshies. Perfect for handmade gifts, your own vehicle, or adding something fun to your maker collection. 💕

How to make car freshies:

1. Scent your beads: For unscented beads, follow your bead supplier’s recommended fragrance load. Mix in a sealed glass jar and shake regularly until the oil is fully absorbed and the beads are dry and free-flowing. Allow any additional curing time your supplier recommends. Using ready-to-bake scented beads? Skip this step!
2. Add colour: Mix in a small amount of mica suitable for freshie making, if desired.
3. Fill your mold: Place an oven-safe silicone freshie mold on a baking tray. Fill to an even thickness and gently level the beads. Use a heat-safe hole former if needed for your hanging cord.
4. Bake: Follow your bead and mold suppliers’ instructions. As a general starting guide, some beads bake at 335–350°F (168–177°C) for 6–10 minutes. Test a small batch first, as ovens and molds vary. The beads should fuse together while retaining some texture.
5. Cool and decorate: Let the freshie firm up before carefully removing it from the mold. Cool completely, decorate, and add your hanging cord.

💕 Care: Hang clear of your view and keep away from dashboards and other surfaces. Avoid excessive heat and direct sunlight, which may cause melting. Keep away from children and pets. For fragrance use only.
