Approximate weight of the bath bomb made with this mold: Estimated 125 grams
Description:
Vacuum molds get their as they are made by using a vacuum to form a plastic sheet over a 3d printed shape. They are quick to make, less expensive and are easy to use.
All molds are made to order, for information on processing time click here. We use LDPE for the production of our vacuum molds. In addition to having no moisture absorption, LDPE meets food handling guidelines making it ideal for manufacturing various containers, bottles, bags and certain laboratory equipment. LDPE is stress relieved and has a “natural” color.
Please note that temps higher than 180 degrees could cause the molds to deform. Prolonged exposure to sunlight could cause stress cracking to occur. Please note that these molds are made of a flexible plastic. Scratching can occur. Please use non-abrasive cleaners. Do not clean in dishwasher, please hand wash
ne.

Maintenance:
Cleaning your mold is as easy as rinsing under cool water, and towel dry. Never soak your molds as they can retain water. Do not place your molds in the dishwasher. PLA is susceptible to heat, so please do not use warm or hot water.
Instructions:
To use: Add some mixture into the bottom of the mold and press in the details. If using embeds, place them now. Fill the rest of the mold loosely. Gently compress the mixture with your palm. If the mold is a little under filled, add more mix until the mold is over filled. Using something straight and solid like a butter knife, soap cutter or whatever else you have removed the excess mixture so the bath bomb is even with the mold and completely smooth and level. Put face down on drying surface, lift up however if any resistance occurs tap on the mold with a spoon until the suction releases before lifting straight up.
