Description:
Vacuum molds get their as they are made by using a vacuum to form a plastic sheet over a 3d printed shape. They are quick to make, less expensive and are easy to use.
All molds are made to order, for information on processing time click here. We use LDPE for the production of our vacuum molds. In addition to having no moisture absorption, LDPE meets food handling guidelines making it ideal for manufacturing various containers, bottles, bags and certain laboratory equipment. LDPE is stress relieved and has a “natural” color.
Please note that temps higher than 180 degrees could cause the molds to deform. Prolonged exposure to sunlight could cause stress cracking to occur. Please note that these molds are made of a flexible plastic. Scratching can occur. Please use non-abrasive cleaners. Do not clean in dishwasher, please hand wash.
Policies:

Cleaning your mold is as easy as rinsing under cool water, and towel dry. Never soak your molds as they can retain water. Do not place your molds in the dishwasher. PLA is susceptible to heat, so please do not use warm or hot water.
Instructions:
To use: Put a bit of mix at the bottom of the mold and press into the details. Add embeds if using. Fill the rest of the mold loosely and press down with you palm. If mold is not evenly full add more mix and press with palm. To remove the excess mix and make the back flat use something hard with a strait edge like a butter knife, soap cutter, etc. To unmold flip on to tray/table or whatever you put your bombs to dry or on to cardboard/foam board/etc. Once flipped, massage the mold and pull on the sides of the mold to break the suction. Pull up straight, if you feel resistance stop, use a spoon/spatula/butter knife to tap the sides as you are pulling up.
