Ready-to-Use Unscented Aroma Beads

Our premium Aroma Beads are small, clear poly beads that can absorb up to 30% of their weight in fragrance oil, providing a long-lasting scent for up to six months, depending on the oil used. These versatile beads are a simple and safe alternative to candles, perfect for freshening up any space. We use ours to make freshies, but they can be used in other ways as well. Place them in a decorative glass vase, potpourri dish, or any container of your choice—and mix different colors to create a beautiful display!

Easy to Use
Our beads are designed to absorb scented oils quickly and efficiently. Typically we use a 4:1 ratio, with 4 times the amount of beads as fragrance. For example, add 25 grams of fragrance oil to 100 grams of aroma beads. Be sure to test every fragrance you'd like to use in small batches. Some fragrances require a higher ratio to fully absorb (I've gone up to an 8:1 ratio for some), and some fragrances just don't work no matter how many beads you add. To infuse aroma beads with fragrance, simply:

1. Place the beads in a glass jar with a secure lid. (We use mason jars!) For a test batch, we recommend starting with 40 grams of beads.
2. Add fragrance oil to the beads in the jar and shake well. For a test batch, we recommend starting with 10 grams of fragrance oil.
3. Allow 24 to 48 hours for full absorption at room temperature.
4. Fragrance has been fully absorbed when the beads do not stick to the sides of the jar. If they continue to stick to the sides after 2 days, add more beads and repeat  starting with step 3. 
   1. For the test batch size, we recommend adding 20 grams of beads if your fragrance hasn't fully absorbed. This will make it a 6:1 ratio. If you have to repeat again, add another 20 grams of beads, making it an 8:1 ratio.
5. For best freshie results, allow your beads to cure for at least 2 weeks before using them to make freshies.

For faster results, you can gently heat the sealed jar to a maximum of 100°F. Shake the jar every few hours to ensure even absorption.

Heat Considerations

For car fresheners, please note that temperatures above 160–170°F may cause softening or melting. Use caution in warm climates and enclosed vehicles. Store in a cool, dry place to preserve fragrance integrity.
